Honouring Elaine’s Legacy:

For 35 years, Elaine dedicated her heart and career to supporting local children as an Educational Assistant. She touched countless lives with her kindness, laughter, sparkle, and unwavering belief in her students. To ensure her passion for helping young people continues, our family is establishing a memorial bursary in her honour.

Beginning with the local graduating Class of 2027, this bursary will be awarded annually to a student pursuing further education, training, or career pathways focused on working with children. Through this gift, Elaine’s legacy of supporting the next generation will live on.

If you would like to contribute to the bursary fund, you can do so in two ways:

• Cash: Bring your contribution to Elaine’s Celebration of Life on September 12th at the Gibsons Legion Hall. Her nieces, Jeanette Lewis and Marlene Lowden, will be collecting donations at the venue.
